Beach Day
Activity: Swimming
Cost: Free
Recommended spots: Ypao beach, Matapang beach, First Beach in Ipan, Inarajan pools, Merizo pier, areas along the Agat coast line.
Caution: Swimming at beaches with lifeguards is always a good idea for families, particularly if you're not familiar with the beach and if you're not strong swimmers. Be sure to use appropriate personal flotation devices, and to bring sun block, hats, water and other materials to help prevent sunburn, overheating and dehydration.
Activity: Snorkeling
Cost: Free if you have snorkeling gear. You can also purchase snorkels and fins at various stores for as little as $15.
Recommended spots: Ypao beach, Matapang beach, Piti bomb hole, and areas along the Agat coast line.

Cost: Free if you have your own gear. If you're joining a club, there may be a fee. But for a one-time deal, check along Tumon Bay where there are various companies that rent out plastic canoes starting at about $15 per hour.
Recommended spots: Tumon Bay
Caution: Always check the weather before going out into the water. Let people know what your plans are and when you plan to return. Be sure to use appropriate personal flotation devices, and to bring sun block, hats, water and other materials to help prevent sunburn, overheating and dehydration.
Outdoor adventures
Activity: Hiking
Cost: Free to about $5
Recommended areas: There are hiking trails all around the island. The Department of Parks and Recreations in partnership with Guam Boonie Stompers offers guided hikes. Recreation programs on military bases also offer guided hikes for people who qualify for military recreational services. Go to www.visitguam.org for hike schedules and stomping tips. The National Park Service also offers hikes and guided walks along historical trails. Visit them online at http://www.nps.gov/wapa or call 333-4050.
Caution: If you've never been on a hike, or if you're going to a new site, go on a guided hike first or go with someone who has been there.

Nothing beats getting your hands on great house floor plans, when you are starting out to build a new house, barn, cabin, cottage, shed or garage. We all know how important it is to start with the right house floor plan so everything can fall into place beautifully. Well, this is the reason I build this website, to share with you the beautiful plans I have used and implemented with success.
The building of a great home begins with a great set of House Floor Plans. Often times the question that bothers home builders is whether or not they need to invest heavily to design a custom housing plan?
To me, that’s unnecessary. The reason is, custom House Floor Plans usually are necessary only when you are constructing a luxury home ranging from 5 million dollars and above. Then of course, having a custom housing plan to detail your personal desires and prefereces is perfectly reasonable. Afterall, it is a multimillion dollar dream house! So what is another 4-10 thousand dollars of spending?
On the other hand, common housing projects, such as a 2Br Cabin, 4Br House with a garage that fits 2 cars do not need elaborate House Floor Plans. If you notice, 8 out of 10 typical residential houses around town share the same generic House Floor Plans that come with minor but noticable changes.
From this pattern, I noticed that clever developers have since built their new projects by making various modifications to their standardized House Floor Plans in order to save architectural fees and also to keep it easy and less costly for their contractors to build.
5) Barn = $1300 – $1600I sat back and thought about these expenses and came to a question. Should I spend thousands of dollars to wait for weeks or even months before an architect finishes my design, or download some ready made but very beautifully designed House Floor Plans by paying the cost of approximately a few lattes? I pondered and I went the path of the latte.
